Thank You for the Prayers!

Greg is currently resting in the cardiac ICU.  The surgery was very successful and went quite smoothly.  Greg is awake, talking and slowly starting to eat/drink.  Now the work begins... over the next 48 hours (if memory serves me right) there will be walking, breathing exercises and pain management.

Greg is in incredible spirits and has been focused on meeting each goal.  The nurse just remarked that she has never had a patient do that well on their first try with breathing exercises.  Praise God!

So thank you for all the prayers, text, e-mails, and calls.  It has helped us weather the storm and kept us calm and focused in the process. 

I will post more either tonight or tomorrow, but I know many are patiently waiting for the great news!
