Thank you for the Prayers

I can't thank you enough for the prayers and petitions on behalf of my husband. The surgery went better than expected today. The valve repair was the best possible outcome. I know it was what Greg was hoping for, but I really was not sure it was going to be an option.

Greg is currently off the ventilator and is starting to feel the effects of surgery. The night and next few days will be tough, but he's doing well. Greg has been taking all of this remarkably well considering the unexpected events and we both drove to the hospital with the confidence that God would protect him today. I will admit that today was one of the toughest days of my life and hearing the surgeon tell me that Greg was headed to recovery was a moment to praise God!

Greg is just beginning the path to recovery and I know it will not be easy, so tonight I would ask you for two things:

1. Please praise God for a successful and remarkable surgery. Although in times like this there is so much to petition for, it's also important to stop and just thank God for answering our prayers and giving us peace in the midst of a storm.

2. Pray for Greg as he begins the road to recovery. Pray for his strength, his spirits, and protection from complications or infections.

Greg Update

Greg is out of surgery and currently in ICU. The Surgeon was able to repair the valve and we are just waiting for him to wake up.
